Some years ago, I challenged myself to learn something new every year. I’m still challenging myself to learn how many years ago it was and one of these days I’ll learn how to organize so I can find the list of things I’ve learned.
There’s a subtle difference between learning new things and trying them. I tried to take the stage to make light of and bring attention to the climate crisis. Connecting with a crowd through entertainment on an issue I’m passionate about through a platform historically used to raise awareness via jest where I learned yet another way not to get laid.
The below clip underscores that how we tell our story is as varied as the stories themselves. Which is really the only justification I can think of for so many Spiderman remakes.
